Instructions for using Tabletops for the first time

After successful installation of Tabletops on your system, you can start the application by clicking on the Tabletops icon on your desktop or from the windows Start Menu -> Programs -> Primus -> Tabletops

Before starting any orders, data pertaining to your restaurant is to be filled in the order specified below.

  • Categorize the Customer Types before filling in Customer Details.
      To populate the Customer Types details, click on Settings -> Customer Types from the Control Center.
      To populate the Customer details, click on Settings -> Customers from the Control Center.
  • Before populating the Dishes, the Printer should be setup and the Locations need to be identified.
      Refer to Windows Help to setup printer on your system.
      To specify the Locations in your restaurant, click on Settings -> Locations from the Control Center.
      To populate the Categories, Dishes & Modifiers, click on Settings -> Categories, Dishes & Modifiers from the Control Center.
  • Fill the Venue and Tables details.
      To specify the Venues and Tables in your restaurant, click on Settings -> Venues & Tables from the Control Center.
  • Payment Options should be specified, before taking any orders.
      To specify the Payment Options to be available to your customers, click on Settings -> Payment Options from the Control Center.
